Brad Pitt has proved the attractiveness of his face as he will be the face of Chanel's classic woman's perfume, Chanel No. 5.
Chanel tweeted today that the 48-year-old actor and dad would star as the face of the perfume, according to Fashionista.com.

— CHANEL (@CHANEL) May 9, 2012
The campaign is set to shoot in London this week, according to The Huffington Post.
Joining Nicole Kidman and Marilyn Monroe, Pitt will be the first male face of the couture house's most famous fragrance.
The Chanel No. 5 will be released sometime in the fall.
But of all fresh faces, why Pitt for the face of the most classic woman's scent from an iconic fashion house? What do you think?
I've been having a marathon of MTV's classic reality show featuring Lauren Conrad and oodles of Heidi (things were so different before that Speidi mess): The Hills.
While watching and reminiscing over Season 1, I've realized that Lauren always has fabulous lips which I'm jealous of. I mean, who wouldn't want perfectly moisturized lips?
Although Chapstick may seem to be a temporary solution for chapped lips, there's a better way to keep your lips hydrated and it can simply be found in your refrigerator: a cucumber!
LC suggests slicing up a cold cucumber and pressing it to your lips for a few minutes. The veggie has healing properties (think cold slicked cucumbers on your eyes for instant under-eye bag relief!) as it can relieve dryness and irritation.
But don't just rely on cucumber! Remember to drink water everyday to keep your pout and body hydrated, especially as summer rolls around.
The fashionista who has reigned as queen reality show star in hit MTV TV shows Laguna Beach and The Hills and has moved on to be a fashion and beauty icon for all those interested has done it again. Lauren Conrad, in addition to her L.A. Candy series and best-seller Lauren Conrad Fashion, is going to release Lauren Conrad Beauty: a guide to everything beauty-related.
As Lauren says herself on her website:
"This books is an opportunity for me to pass on all the things I've learned along the way (and some of the missteps)."
She states that readers will be able to find her favorite beauty tips and tricks and tutorials.
The book will be launching in stores on October 16. This is also the date of the release date of her next book in The Fame Game trilogy: Starstuck.
Take a look at the cover, released today!
Are you a Lauren Conrad fan and will you be picking up this book?
If you're a college student like me, you know how amazing you feel when you slip on a dress in the morning. It's comfortable and you instantly look cute while wearing one article of clothing. What more could you want for a sunny, busy day?
My favorite spring dress is one that incorporates color - because spring is about being colorful - and fits perfectly because if it doesn't fit well, you don't feel good in it.
So my favorite dress of the moment is this cutout dress from Urban Outfitters.
The cutouts aren't drastic enough so that you can wear this dress to class or on a night out. The blue and red colors are also perfect for brightening anyone's day.
Pair the dress with a cardigan, like this one from H&M, for those mornings when it's a little chilly out. Slip on your favorite pair of flats, wedges, or sandals, and you're good to go for the rest of the day.
What would you pair with this dress?
With spring weather finally starting to make it's appearance, I went on a nail frenzy (meaning I painted my nails three times over the past two weeks).
I was inspired by The Beauty Department's Gold Leaf manicure and would've done it, but being a first-year college student with lack of craft supplies, I made it work with my nail polish.
All you need are two of your favorite nail polishes. It's more fun if you choose contrasting colors (try color-blocking with pink and orange or blue and green!) or a metallic and a light polish.
- Use your favorite base coat before you paint your nails! Super important to keep your nails looking beautiful. Also, if you have a buffing block, buff your nails! If not, I suggest you get one because they are wonderful for smoothing and shaping your nails. Check out this one from Sephora.
- Choose the polish that will be your base and paint two coats.
- Take whatever color you choose to angle your nails with. On your left hand, the angles will be going from bottom left to top right. On your right, angles go from bottom right to top left.
- Angle your brush and just swipe it from the middle of the length of your nail to around the middle of the tip of your nail.
- Finish with a top coat and voila, the perfect angled manicure!
Enjoy your spring days with beautiful nails!
Fashion designer Marc Jacobs already has a fragrance line under his belt, in addition to his clothing, handbag, and accessory collections, but he's branching out into makeup territory.
The line is in its very early stages as Jacobs is working with Sephora to define "what Marc Jacobs cosmetics will be," WWD reports.
No official launch date for the line has been set.
"I love the opportunity, wherever there is one, to adorn, to decorate, to scent, to dress. That's what fashion's all about. It's not necessary, it's something you want -- it's a fancy and a whim," Jacobs told WWD.
With Marc Jacobs' creative genius encapsulated in makeup, I can only imagine what products -- from the colors used and the packaging designed -- Jacobs will create. Are you looking forward to his cosmetic line?
Spring is full of color and this season's trends are amazing. One that I love a little bit more than the others currently? Color blocking. Specifically bold pinks and oranges together. Nothing else makes for a better combination and it's completely perfect for spring in that it adds that pop of color everyone enjoys.
So when I came across this amazing Marc by Marc Jacobs Satchel on Pinterest, I lovingly sighed at the sight of it.
