Heidi and Seal: Over?!

This isn't really fashion related but come on, it's Heidi Klum, a.k.a the goddess we all know as a Victoria's Secret Angel (who walked the VS Runway six weeks after giving birth!) and the host of Project Runway.

According to a tweet from @eonline, the power couple has officially split after seven years of marriage and three kids, plus one from Heidi's earlier relationship whom Seal adopted in 2009.

In E!'s article, Heidi's rep tells them that "after much soul-searching, we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart."

I don't know what to say. Are you guys as shocked as I am?

Angels

The glitter, the lingerie, the wings. The three make up the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show which aired on CBS Tuesday night.
With performances by Katy Perry and Akon, Adriana Lima strutting down the glitter SOMETHING runway wearing the $2 million Bombshell Fantasy Bra encrusted with diamonds and sapphire designed by Damiani, and more wings than ever, The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show definitely was a firework (a.k.a the song which Katy Perry opened with). Akon also performed his new single, very fitting for the fashion show, called Angel. The fashion show offered a little dose of behind-the-scenes action that featured the models talking their VS "family" and getting ready for the runway.
The theme for the show, "A Night of 1000 Fantasies," the fashion show was broken up into 5 sections:
1. Tough Love
2. Game On
3. Country Girl
4. Wild Things
5. Pink

One of my favorite outfits from the whole show. Behati Prinsloo in the "Game On" portion of the fashion show. Loved it.


Also from the Game On portion, Isabeli Fontana. Definitely just proves that these girls work out heavily to get into the amazing shape they're in.

Also one of my favorites. Erin Heatherton from the "Wild Things" segment.



For the Pink portion, Chanel Iman came out with both bubble wings and a bubble gun. Though I never saw her a Victoria's Secret model, she seems to fit well with the Victoria's Secret Pink; too sweet.

One Less Angel

After 13 years of being an Angel, Heidi Klum is done. She told Victoria's Secret she was quitting and said "All good things have to come to an end. I will always love Victoria's Secret. It has been an absolutely amazing time." Without her, there are only four Victoria's Secret Angels left: Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, and Doutzen Kroes.

Runways With Surprises

Chanel Iman. Karlie Kloss. Agyness Deyn. Coco Rocha. Maryna Linchuk.
When you hear those names, you know they're models. You know that they walk the designer runways that happen every Fall and Spring.

How about these names?
Miranda Kerr. Gisele Bündchen. Adriana Lima. Heidi Klum. Alessandra Ambrosio.
They're the Victoria's Secret Angels of course. They walk the runway for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that presents itself once a year.

Getting straight to the point, the Victoria's Secret Models have walked runways before. They are models just like Chanel, Coco, Maryna. Yet, they're a different "type" of model, I guess you could say. So it was a surprise, albeit a lovely one, that some of those Angels appeared on runways of Fall 2010 Fashion Week.

Alessandra Ambrosio walked the runway for Giles and Prada this year. In the past, she's walked for Oscar de la Renta (Fall 2001), Vivienne Tam (Fall 2001), Balmain (Spring 2000), and more.

This Fashion Week, Miranda Kerr walked runways for Balenciaga and Prada. Previous years, she's walked for Betsey Johnson (Fall 2007), Jason Wu (Fall & Spring 2007), L.A.M.B. (Spring 2007), and Threeasfour (Spring 2007).

So hello amazing models that bring curves to the Fashion Week Runway.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Airing December 1 on CBS, Heidi Klum will be hosting the much awaited Victoria's Secret Fashion Show weeks after giving birth to her third child. The fashion show, themed "Romantic Travel" will be featuring the Black Eyed Peas.
Chanel Iman signed a three-year contract with Victoria's Secret in November of this year, so she'll be walking the Victoria's Secret runway. Four other models also gained the spot as Victoria's Secret Angels: Emanuela de Paula, Lindsay Ellingson, Candice Swanepoel, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Filled with balloons, sparkles, extravagant creations, all appearing tonight.
